PLEASE NOTE:

There is a hyperbaric chamber at CFB Esquilmalt but it is generally inaccessible to the public.

Dial 911: Say, "I have a SCUBA diving emergency".

Dial Vancouver General Hospital: Say, "I have a SCUBA diving emergency. I want to talk to the hyperbaric physician on call (Dr. Lepawsky) ".

Dial Canadian Coast Guard: Say, "I have a SCUBA diving emergency".

Divers Alert Network (DAN): Say, "I have a SCUBA diving emergency".

If medical personal are unfamiliar with scuba diving emergencies, ask them to telephone DAN (Divers Alert Network): 919-684-8111, then say: "I have a SCUBA diving emergency"
